Eliminating the tyranny of distance and lack of access to professional musicians, John Noble has created Itet - an exciting, innovative & inspiring String Chamber Music Program for students of regional & rural Victoria. Each ensemble receives monthly mentoring sessions with inspiring violinist & Artistic Director John Noble, Melbourne’s own Flinders Quartet and other professional musicians. They are supported by their local community, philanthropists, schools and government. These partnerships provide rehearsal spaces with all of the technical support to deliver inspirational coaching via online platforms. Performance opportunities are provided at local civic, private & community events allowing our musicians to gain in confidence and maturity. They are linked to other professional ensembles from across Australia. Artistic Patrons – Flinders Quartet joined Itet in 2018 offering life-changing performance opportunities to our musicians. They regularly share the stage with our regional musicians delivering incredibly exciting concerts.
